The friendship of the Turkish nation at the westernmost tip of the Asian continent and the Japanese nation at the easternmost tip has continued since 1890. The film «ERTUĞRUL 1890» tells two historical stories that led to the development and strengthening of this friendship. This story of mercy and sacrifice is now reflected on the cinema screens within the framework of a huge international co-production.

The Turkish frigate Ertuğrul, which sank off the coast of Kushimoto town of Wakayama province in Japan in 1890, has become a symbol of Turkish-Japanese friendship. Ertugrul martyrs monuments were erected in Kushimoto in 1891 and in Ünye district of Ordu in 2014. Today, there is a Turkish museum, a Turkish cultural center and a statue of Atatürk, as well as the Ertuğrul martyrdom in Kushimoto.

The people of Kushimoto wanted to film the story of Ertuğrul for a long time in order to contribute to world peace by telling this beautiful story of friendship of Ertuğrul to the world. For this purpose, Kushimoto Mayor Katsumasa Taşima contacted the film director Mitsutoshi Tanaka and the «Ertuğrul Peace in the World» association was established in the city of Vakayama. Ertugrul 1890 (125 Years Memory) Movie With Urdu & English Subtitles

The Ottoman frigate Ertuğrul, who went to visit Japan in 1890, had an accident and sank in Japanese waters during his return. Few people survived the accident. The Japanese people on the shore of the accident try to find the survivors and take them ashore to do their treatment. One of the survivors is Captain Mustafa. Although it took a long time for Captain Mustafa, who was shocked in this accident, to accept what happened, herecovered with the efforts of his Japanese friends. It happened to Dr Tamura and Haru. Although the story ends here, years later, almost a century after the beginning of this friendship, another event occurs that will reinforce this friendship. Iran-Iraq War, The Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Turgut Özal, gives instructions for the Japanese trapped in the city of Istanbul and rescues the Japanese citizens there. In this case, we come across the characters of Murat and Haruma, played by the same actors. Here, too, their paths cross.

The movie starts with the Ertuğrul Frigate incident, which is the beginning of the Turkish-Japanese friendship. I knew that we were friendly countries, but I learned the beginning of this friendship with this movie. I had heard more or less about the rescue of the Japanese in 1985, but I learned about this event for the first time. It was a movie that tells about both a history and events from recent history. The actors were very good. I also learned in a news that some of the people who played the Japanese people were the grandchildren of the Japanese people in that event. They were quite

touched. The Turkish actors were also very good and reflected the events very well..It was a movie that I found successful. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it.
