How to be Really Happy | Best Habits To Be Happy in Life:

Happiness is quite different for everyone. For some of us this is; While it is about being able to do what we want, for some of us it can be to be good in a career, to start a family, to travel freely.

Whatever makes you happy, you can have more and live a more satisfied and fulfilling life. The most important thing to have in mind is to know that it has nothing to do with materiality. Of course, although some of our wishes are directly proportional to materiality, we should not forget that everything has an alternative and a solution.

Although we all have a different understanding of happiness, our ways of achieving it are similar. While some have the opportunity to do what you want in a shorter time, some should put a little effort on this path. But no matter what, it is actually in our hands to lead a happier life.

In this article, we will share with you ways that will make you feel happier and that most people do, even accepted by most studies and research. You don't have to do all of them. You may not accept these ways as those imposed on us, but create your own articles, shape the accepted truths according to you, or you may not accept some of them. It's all up to you, but what do we lose by trying?

Smile

Personally, I used to drop most posts when a list started with a smile. But when I came across this substance in so many places, I said why not try it. It didn't take long before I realized that smiling really changed my energy and the energy around me.

Smiling causes the brain to release dopamine, which automatically helps us feel happier no matter what we're smiling at. You don't need to keep a smile on your face that you don't always feel inside. Just try to see things around you that will make you smile.

Instead of just walking down the street, you can look at cats, observe people's interactions with each other, and you can always find something to smile about.

Maintain your diet, exercise and sleep patterns

One of the first and best ways to improve your quality of life is to take some time for yourself. The easiest and most cost-effective way of this situation is to include exercise, regular nutrition and sleep in your life.

Organize into your daily routine. Get yourself an exercise you'll love. It can be walking outside, going to a gym, or opening a video at home and doing yoga. Just move a little. Regular exercise can help reduce stress, feelings of anxiety and symptoms of depression while boosting self-esteem and happiness. In addition, if you are consuming foods that are considered very fatty and unhealthy, switch to a lighter diet. Being vigorous in your body will automatically make you feel lighter and healthier.

Of course, sleep is equally important. Having a routine where you sleep at least 7-8 hours a day will also help reduce your fatigue and make you feel better.

Be grateful

A study published in The Journal of Positive Psychology in 2019 found that gratitude can have a significant impact on feelings of hope and happiness. (*) Actually, you have heard this often. There are always things to be grateful for in our lives, but we skip seeing them and see more of what we don't have.

You can keep gratitude as simple as possible. I drank coffee with my friends today, I am healthy, I have my family with me, I have a job, etc. Bring awareness to situations that you are used to and are not aware of. When you make this a habit, you will feel much better and automatically begin to be grateful for your life.

Compliment

A sincere compliment is a quick and easy way to brighten someone's day while boosting your own happiness. I encounter this a lot. I'm starting to think that this is how I attract people into my life now. I love praising a friend I see. His shy smile and happiness always make me happy and instantly raise my energy. It is what we all need to say how beautiful your hair is and how well this outfit suits you. When I started doing this because I made a habit of it, I realized that I saw the same thing from others.

Now, even while shopping for groceries at certain moments, I see the cashier compliment my energy and smile. Everyone changes when you change.

Accept the unhappy moments

Of course, we can never be happy all the time. We can encounter many things in life, or even people who experience bad things can affect our psychology and make us unhappy. Accept these moments. Don't try to pretend you're happy when you're feeling bad. Accept your unhappiness and live it the way you want to live it. Boring yourself, trying to look strong means that you cannot easily get out of this feeling of unhappiness.

Wherever you are, don't brake yourself. Don't suppress any emotion, let it come out.

Keep a diary

A journal is a good way to organize your thoughts, analyze your emotions, and make plans. It helps to reveal the feelings that you can't even say to yourself and makes you relax.

Writing it down when you're feeling good or bad helps you relax in every sense and help you feel happier by increasing your awareness of what's good.

Spend time with your friends

We are all social beings and need socialization. When we do this with our close friends, we feel safe and happy. That's why spending time with your friends makes you a happier person. Since you will share the good and bad things in your life during these meetings, you can also take the burdens off you. You don't have to experience anything alone. Your happiness will increase as you share, while your sadness will decrease as you share.

Create times when you're away from technology

While this may not seem like a possibility anymore, it will be in your best interest to gradually get used to it. Although I have not had the opportunity to experience this subject, which has been among my plans for a while, I stopped looking at social media for a while as soon as I woke up in the morning. This gives me time to think about my own life and my daily plans.

When I woke up, seeing people having fun and being with their friends while I was spending time on social media started to affect me badly and I was in comparison with my own life. How others had spent the previous night to the fullest, while I was just sitting at home. I noticed that by stepping away from that a little bit, I woke up to mornings feeling much better. Try it, you will have a different day after a while.

Spend time in nature, meditate

According to a study published on nature.com in 2016, spending 30 minutes or more a week in green areas helps lower blood pressure and depression. Try to increase the time you spend in nature, in green areas and outdoors. Most of us may find it difficult to find green space in city life. If you do not have a park or garden around, you can spend your weekend plans in nature close to where you live. When you make this a habit, you may experience moments when you feel much better.

Also, don't forget to try meditation. Many studies and scientific studies prove that meditation improves mood. Try to set aside 5-10 minutes during the day to close your eyes and calm down, as it can be difficult at first to create space and meditate for hours on end.

Take time for your personal care

Doesn't the shower you take after a busy day make you feel so good? Give value to such moments and even make time for them. You can prepare your favorite drink and turn on your favorite songs and apply nail polish, or you can do your skin care while a favorite show is playing on TV.

Taking time for yourself will boost your morale by increasing your self-esteem and self-compassion.

Get therapy

Besides all this, therapy is actually something we all need. Therapists are trained to help people improve their coping skills. Even just a few sessions can help improve your awareness of many issues. If you can, integrate therapy into your life.
