Real History Of Terken Hatun :

Terken Hatun, the wife of Melikşah , the ruler of the Seljuk State , also known as Celâliye Hatun, and mother of Mahmud I, is known for her active role in political events in historical sources. While her husband was alive, he struggled with vizier Nizamülmülk, who was a supporter of his stepson Berkyaruk, for the appointment of his son Mahmud as heir. Hiding the death of Sultan Melikşah in order to prevent possible confusion in the administration, Terken Hatun asked Caliph Muktedî to teach a sermon on behalf of his son Mahmud.

Terken Hatun or Celaliye Hatun is the wife of Melikşah, the ruler of the Seljuk State, and the mother of Mahmud I. His real name is unknown, but his title is while smoking. Although his father was İbrahim Tamgaç Han, the founder of the Western Karakhanids, She married Sultan Melikşah in one of the years 1064 or 1068 (although not completely clear).

Terken Hatun, who fought through various stages, left Isfahan to end her forces, but returned to the hospital on the way. After a while, she died in Isfahan in 1094.

In the end, he threatened the Caliph Muktedi-Biemrillah and succeeded in having Mahmud be declared as the sultan and have a sermon given in his name (485/1092). When his father died, he had Berkyaruk , who was in Isfahan, arrested through Emîr Kürboğa.
